Ok there are a few with him and them in the ring. Stefani was in the dark green shirt and blue jeans, and Chris was in a dark blue shirt, jeans and khaki baseball cap. There is a one of Stefani and I, my bull calf and her bull calf. I am in the red plaid shirt and jeans. It isn't letting me "tag" you in a comment to show you what one's I am talking about. So hope that helps/gives you an idea what ones to look for.

Susan, he is gorgeous! Love the pictures. And, as always, you are a wonderful author.

Thanks so much, Rusty Ranch! I'm heading right to FB. And thank you, Fran--wish I could write you a happy ending for your saga!

I just have to share this! I'm tickled pink with Royal's temperament. I give him and his steer buddy soaked alfalfa every morning. Our formerly shy steer has gotten a little pushy about it. Today he tried to stick his head in the bucket while I locked the gate behind me. When I pushed him away, he tried to shove his head in the bowl while I was pouring it out. I had to whack him in the head with the bucket. Royal just stood there at a respectful distance, very politely waiting till I was done and out of the way. Such a good boy! He doesn't mind pushing the steer out of the way to get the bowl he wants, but he is so respectful with me. I was so proud of him I wanted to give him a hug, but of course I didn't. No point ruining a good thing, so I just scratched his back once or twice and let him enjoy his breakfast. (I need a smiley with happy rays radiating out from it!)

Susan that is funny, our steer is quite the pain in the you know what. To top it off he has horns, NEVER again. He will chase after me if I have a bucket of feed. I stomp my foot and he stops, but not my bull Waldo. He is quite the gentleman. I wonder if all steers are jerky? I am not the least bit sad about him going to the freezer. So glad you are enjoying Royal.

Susan, just reading this older post and thinking how fitting that Ebby had Seb, and you will be able to start the "Crown Royal" tradition.
