Hi Everyone, Here is a photo of our feast. No lobster, they were $65/kilo, just a little too expensive We had Sydney rock oysters natural, cooked Tiger prawns (shrimps), Moreton Bay bugs, green Banana prawns that we peeled and were cooked up into a yummy garlic prawn dish, red gurnard fillets and flathead fillets. We also had some homemade salmon cakes to start, and I had also bought some smoked cod and we were going to make this up into a smoked cod chowder for starters also. We decided we had waaayyy too much food for 2 people, so the smoked cod chowder will be for another day. Everything was beautiful fresh Australian seafood (except the smoked cod which we don't have over here)
Good Friday dinner is meant to be a simple meal of fish, we just got a little carried away and it was absolutely yummy.

So amazing looking! We are just too far from the coast here to get good seafood. maybe not simple, but scrumptious! No wonder you got carried away!

Here's hoping everyone else had a peaceful and joyous time with their families at Easter.
I returned to work yesterday and we had a feast at morning tea time. I work with a few Croatians and Macedonians, and they go all out in the sweet department at Easter. They bring the left overs in for work. We had all sorts of goodies, my favourite was the best baklava that I have ever eaten. Oh YUMMMMMMM!!!!! with syrup running all the way up to my elbows LOL
