This first pic was taken at Woodmagic, I was walking around taking photos as usual and thought two cows were fighting but someone had been there earlier and left gates open and the two bulls had got together!
This is my Greyface Dartmoor ewe lamb bouncing toward me in the snow.
This needs no explanation....silly calf...poor sheep!
I loved this the gates were tied and I expect the farmer thought someone had been letting his cattle out, the steer was pleased to show me his party trick!

The one of your ewe in the snow is great. It looks like she is coming out of nowhere.

I love the fur ball ewe! I hope that calf felt a bit sheepish about its behavior!

Great photos. Oh too funny Susan LOL. The lamb looks just like a furry dog till you see the hooves.

The cow in the top pic seemed to be waiting to see who won, she almost looked as if she was keeping score....Wm Rhinoceros won, he was older, bigger and more muscled than Wm Bison.

Just found this in my archives when I was looking for something else! This is my bull Woodmagic Hedgehog 4th, he was only about 5 months old at the time - hence the rather over sized nose ring! His Mum died,(it was sudden and rather tragic, she had magnesium deficiency and despite my best efforts - firstly with bottles of Magnesium and then the vet who sedated her, there was nothing could be done,) so he was an orphan from about 3 and a half months. We didn't have another in milk cow but he tried suckling a heifer that hadn't calved, the over sized ring was an attempt to stop him. Anyway this particular morning I had moved them and they looked nice, so I fetched the camera, on my return 5 minutes later he had gone! I called and he came - slipping and sliding back to me along the banks of the stream, then calmly squeezed himself back through the fence!!! I managed to take several pics despite the fact that my jaw had dropped open, then went and got more rails and a bucket of nails.....
