ZH Siobhan's Macree, ADCA #031843, is ready for her new home.
- Born 6/5/13, 15 months old Sept. 5
- Heterozygous polled
- Black, carries wild red (ED/E+)
- Negative for chondro and PHA
- A1/A2
- Sire and dam qualified, genotype on file with TAMU and UCD
- Has a sweet temperament
- Is halter-broken
- Is being trained to the stanchion. Macree has been accustomed to the stanchion since she was 2 months old, going in alongside her dam for milking. We are continuing her training as a future milk cow.
- She is currently open, but can be sold bred to our bull, Mrald Crown Royal. Royal is not for sale or stud service, but you can have his genetics in your herd. Here is a description of his dam's dairy capability and stats from the Emerald Park Farm website: Macree should make a very sweet family milk cow. More photos are available on our website. For more information, please IM me for my email address or call four-two-three, 653, eight-eight 47."Our first Frederick daughter we have milked! Electra is Knotting X Circle H bloodlines and is EVERYTHING her pedigree says she should be. We weaned her calf at 7 months of age. She was the easiest cow I have ever trained to milk. Even through the stress of weaning, she got in to the groove and started letting down our third round. Her milk is SO tasty and rich! It is now obvious why her bull calf was so fat and happy, her tests revealed an average butterfat content of ......drum roll.......just over 8.03%! Her highest tested 10.07%. WHAT ARE YOU KIDDING ME?? Her protein content is also remarkably high at 5.33% We milked her once a day and by her 5th day she started really getting in to it and ramping up her production. She started giving over 1/2 gallon each milking when we decided it was time to dry her up. What a fantastic little Dexter!" www.emeraldparkfarm.com/Dexter-Dairy.html
