Well my guess from those photos is non-chondro. My guess also is that I am probably wrong LOL.

I'm going to say non-chondro as well, but there are some indications in his body that he could be.
This of course is just my opinion, without getting into specifics; as much as an advocate of a chondro as I am, if he was a chondro carrier, I wouldn't use him as a breeding bull. I think that there should be a clearly visible difference between the two types of Dexters, and the qualities we have found the carriers do possess are (for the most part) lost when you have one like Bullseye is.

I'm with the nons...
Pics are so hard to get that really show the animal. The first two make him look shallow through the body, the third he looks deep...
Shallow body is not good. Scrotum hanging straight down isn't great as it indicates poor rear udder attachment. Otherwise not a lot to criticize.

I'm guessing Carol that the scrotum shot is because he's walking. It's probably swinging rather than hanging straight. But you're right, it's really hard to get pics that show him as he probably looks in person. If he's a non-carrier, the third photo makes him look much better. However I don't like him that much if he is a carrier, too much leg; what would his non-carrier calves look like then?

I'm ambivalent after seeing the photos, but I'll play. I'll guess non-carrier.

Wow, it seems to be unanimous that he is a non-carrier. Are we all right or all wrong? LOL

Hans, walking doesn't change the angle of the dangle. c.
