Think our Dexter bulls could achieve Toystory's measure? ETA: This was printed in our paper in a slightly "abridged" version, although I was unaware of the censoring. I couldn't find the column on Ron Hart's website, so I emailed him to ask if the column had been published online anywhere, that I wanted to share it on my blog because it was so hysterical. He emailed me back a link, with thanks for my compliments, to the unexpurgated version that I posted above. I didn't bother to inform him that his research had apparently not turned up the fact that as a Holstein bull, Toystory was probably not being used to increase beef production, but dairy. Of course, we all know that, but other than that very minor flaw, I loved this!

I saw that, too, Barb. I have to say that as nice as it is to find something like that in the WSJ, Ron Hart's column is the funniest thing I've read in a long time! Advisory: If you're sensitive about politics or the NBA, better stick to the WSJ!

Hmmm, Not sure he would be the role model for our Dexters, at least I terms of temperament.
"One veterinarian called Toystory “meaner than a snake,” and most people feared him."
And now he has 500,000 progeny out there! On a side note, I was wondering what his A2 status was, but could not find it.

Dahdo, my thoughts exactly. With a temperament like that he should have been beefed not collected. What happens when someone ends up with one of those 500,000 dairy culls as a house cow and thinks the can keep and raise a bull calf.
