Most of the time, things move along here on a nice, even keel, and that's the way I like it! However, when we do have a health issue, I like to share what I've learned in case it can help someone else. Of course, I hope you never need it! Very nice article Susan. I will be adding a trocar to my kit too. I shuddered at the thought when I watched the Dr. Poll episode where they used the trocar, but a steak knife WOULD be harder, and probably not as effective.

Really good article, Susan. We don't think about bloat in our adult cows, except early spring and lush clover time, but it can happen anytime of the year. I don't have everything on hand that I need, guess I better take care of that. Thanks for the nudge P.J.
