Yep, I can see all those chicken barns in the Southeastern US! I'm surprised Texas didn't show up with more cattle, though. Do you think the Dexters are too small to show up?

Haha good one Susan. I was surprised to see that Texas didn't seem to look like it had that many cattle also. It's said that Texas has more cattle than any other state. What really baffles me is where do they have all the grass to feed them all?

Very interesting.
I have a theory on Texas, Texas ranks very high in cattle numbers because of the large amount of feedlots located in Texas. If you didn't count feedlots Texas wouldn't rank as high, especially if you considered land area. There are states with much denser cattle populations per acre that are on range. Texas ranks high because of its size and because feedlots are counted on US cattle statistics. My theory on the matter.
