Hello all! I've been lurking around for awhile, after somebody told me that a bunch of the really, um...obnoxious...people had left. Looks fairly safe now, so I finally decided to stick my head out. We're buried in about 2 ft of snow right now, which is significantly more than we're used to seeing around here, but the Dexters don't seem one bit bothered. Kim

Welcome to the forum Kim, glad you've decide to join and bring new life to this forum. Oh my 2 feet of snow, stay safe. I'm feeling bad for all of the folks that are getting hit by this storm.

Hi Barb! It looks like this place could use some new life...it's awfully quiet in here. Which is rather ironic coming from me, as I'm not exactly a blabber-fingers, am I?! LOL The snow makes farm chores a bit more challenging, indeed, but it really isn't that bad. Other people in the area most likely feel differently, but having grown up in PA, this isn't really a big deal to me & DH...it's just snow. And besides, it's supposed to hit almost 40* today & 50* tomorrow & most of it will melt. The wonders of winter in SE KY! Kim

Hi, hoperefuge, and welcome! So glad to see you finally take the plunge! (Since it's way too cold and snowy to jump in anything where you are!) I won't say I'm jealous of your 2' of snow, but I sure would have liked more than the dusting we got! Hope you turn into a blabberfingers and liven things up here!

Hi, Susan! No, I'm not much for jumping in the snow anymore. Kim

Hi Kim, I am also happy to see you here too. No offense but I am glad we didn't get the 2' of snow this time. I can't imagine getting up to 50* in January. I am happy to get up to 30*. That's almost t shirt weather in WI.
