Hi, I've been hearing about milk testing some owners do on their cow's milk, to check for general quality, pathogens, problems etc. I was interested in that but can't find any info online. Does anyone know where I can order one of these milk quality tests?

If you have a state animal health laboratory system, they can test it for you if you submit a milk sample. If you're having your cow checked for TB, then your vet would have to do that (requires two visits).

On the National Dairy Herd Information website they list labs around North America that does milk testing www.dhia.org. See if there is one close to you that you can contact for testing information. You can also google (your state) Dairy Herd Improvement Association to see if they have a local testing service available. They can test for components in the milk, butterfat, milk volume, ect.
