Hi everyone, Here's a couple of pictures of a few of our little herd. This is Harvey, he'll be a year in May. This is Georgia, our youngest (in honor of our youngest daughter at UGA vet school Rosemary and part of the crowd. Ellie - probably the sweetest of them all.

Thank you very much, Eileen! We certainly think so. We've had Dexters for almost 3 years now, and we absolutely love them!! I'm actually thinking about learning to milk one? ? I've never, ever done that before and it kind of scares me. My husband and I both still work full-time, so I'm not sure it's a feasible idea. But I do enjoy dreaming.

I sure hope your dream comes true. Those darn jobs seem to get in the way of our fun, don't they? In the meantime, enjoy your beautiful herd. I personally couldn't think of a better breed to own. I simply love my Dexters! Eileen

You're right, Eileen, those darn jobs do get in the way! Unfortunately, without them we'd all be going hungry. ;D However, I am hoping to be able to retire in 6 years and do the farm full-time. That is my GOAL!!!
Thanks, ssrdex, she is a pretty girl but will NOT let you get near her. She won't come into the feed area if she knows you are anywhere around. The only way I've been able to catch her lately is by outsmarting her (sneaking up on her from the back of the barn when she's in the stall or something like that).
Hi Gene, no, this is her first year at UGA. She started there this past August. She loves it!
