I think they are bracing themselves for the 5 to 8 inches of snow we are supposed to be getting tonight.

They are about a month away still. These are the first two cows we bought, they are 7 years old and always look huge.

I have a cow that is a super easy keeper. She has a more "beefy" frame too, but these girls look about to pop! Bet you cant wait till they do. So exciting.

My girls look like yours. Ready to pop!! They aren't due for another month but they sure are huge. And this has been such a long hard winter, with a very rough drought season before it and they are in top condition. Dexters are wonderful. They are the perfect breed of cattle IMO.
When you look at them straight on all you see is a big round circle with little short legs under it. Can't even make out the horns. Maybe I'll be able to brave the mud and mess and get some pics if it warms up enough today.
