This 14 month old bull brings the new and the old lines together. What do you think of him? (That's Grainne, my crossbred Dexter behind him). I just sold him, along with a nice heifer, to a local gentleman.

hmmm posted a reply, it disappeared. maybe I forgot to sign in. Ever a risk taker, and working down from perfection: Good length, excellent forward attachment in his daughters, very clean brisket, 2 out of 5 for tenderness*, meaty, good width between the legs and pins, good bone to carcass ratio, good hormone balance, good rib eye percentage, good temperament. Hard to tell with the pic, but possibly toe out/cow hocked slightly in the rear? tailhead a little rounded, sheath could be very (VERY) slightly tighter. Wouldn't kick him out of bed on a dark night Customer should be really happy with him. cheers, c. * 1 cut with a fork 2 cut with a knife 3 cut with a serrated knife 4 cut with a hacksaw 5 cut with a chainsaw

He looks very nice - well proportioned. Appears to be of very sound structure.
