Hi Donna J, I'm not sure our budget can run to a lobster, I'll have to wait and see. I could buy a cheap one imported from Asia, but we buy Australian produce wherever possible, and Australian lobsters are pretty pricey. A lot of seafood here in Australia is imported from Asia, and it is soooo much cheaper, we prefer to support our local fishermen and buy a lesser amount of Australian caught for the same price, than support overseas fishermen. Hmmm, I would kill for a huge Australian lobster. LOL
Your ham sounds lovely, Can I come for dinner? Do you eat the whole ham, or do you have lots of leftovers for later?
Traditionally for us, Sunday is roast lamb, you know signifying the "sacrificial lamb" ?

In some places Louise, both traditions are still done....Definitely the Easter Bunny....Still thinking on a name for a bull, "just in case"....Your post just gave me an idea....If it's a bull I could name it " EB" ....I guess this will do until I think of something better....

Sure come on over! I'm sure our daughter won't mind....When can we expect you? It really depends on how many people come to eat as to if we have leftovers....

Hi girls. We love Easter here! And yes Louise, OF COURSE we have the Easter bunny! It used to be a lot more fun when the kids were small and all if the cousins would come over & we'd do a big Easter egg hunt. We haven't even dyed eggs for 3 or 4 years now. Ham is our tradition for Sunday, though I like the lamb idea very much, especially it's representation. Perhaps next year. Our last years Easter calf we named Easter Lily, but her destiny is for someone's freezer unfortunately. Maybe she'll become someone's Easter feast someday? I like the name Triumph for an Easter Sunday bull. Enjoy the weekend all!
