have the vet come out to palpate. I don't. I keep the cows in w/ the bull, as much as possible. I just had to move him out, we caught him nursing off one of the soon to be momas. He's 3 yrs old, it's time for him to grow up!

Do you know if she has been exposed? How long has it been, since she was bred? If you can, take her to the vet and have her checked, if not, if you have a bull, he will let you know if she comes back in heat, she's not bred. A little more information would help get some answers. P.J.

If it has been at least 30 days since breeding, a blood test can also be performed. Highly accuracte without the risks associated with palpation. charles www.beavertreefarm.com

The heiffer will be stunted if she is only a year old and pregnant, try to visit the vet then check it if she is pregnant.

I'm wondering about this too, but I don't get the original question and then answered by the same person. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. I have a heifer that has been exposed to a bull but shows really no sign of pregnancy such as what I would have thought of enlarging udders, teats. No heats.

She could go all the way to the very end before really showing any major signs. How far along do you think she is? If it's past the 30 mark and before the tail end, I would bio track pregnancy test her.
