This will be the un-verified list. It will be up to Gene to update the master list in Scribd. I put the list into Excel. Note: look on the bottom, there is Sheet 1 (bulls) and Sheet 2 (cows). This list can be amended by anyone. So if you've purchased one of these animals, you can change the owners name. If you have animals that are tested, you can add them to the list. Then save the file, reply to this post and attach the modified file. Gene is this OK?

Hi Janine, Here is the link to the UC Davis VGL testing lab: www.vgl.ucdavis.edu/services/cattle.phpYou can test directly with UC Davis VGL and the cost for the A1/A2 Beta Casein test is $25.00. You will need a tail hair sample with follicles (hair root bulbs) attached. Thirty or forty tail hairs is sufficient. Make sure that there is no manure or dirt on the tail tassel when you take your sample. The hair should be clean and dry (wash and dry it first, if needed). Then wrap you finger around a small bunch of tail hairs and pull up towards the tail head. It may take several pulls to get enough hairs. Place each pull of hairs onto a clean paper towel with all of the follicle ends lined up together. Pinch the bundle of hairs and tape it (to hold it together) about 1 to 2 inches down from the follicle end. Trim the excess hair from the opposite end. Your sample will be about 4 inches long, end to end, with all of the follicles on one side and the tape in the middle. It will look like a "hair bouquet". After you print out the test form (that you've filled out with all your information), you tape the hair bundle directly onto the form (at the bottom and then fold the end of the paper over it. Place the entire form with hair sample into an envelope to protect it. Hope this helps. Patti

We got our UC Davis A2 results back in January and all of our little herd is A2/A2 ; so we have 5 more that can be added to the list! BCQC OSF Caoimhe Fianan ADCA# 025174 Cowtown's Stormy ADCA# 017136 OSF Ciara Aibreann ADCA#024417 West Tocoi Patsy ADCA# 021598 Over the Moon's McGee ADCA# 025694 3 of our girls have had lovely, healthy calves since the first of the year, so we've had to make some decisions for the future. At least one of our A2/A2 cows will be available for sale, possibly with her bull calf, and bred back to our dark dun bull McGee for a late 2012/early 2013 calf. McGee is also likely to be available after all of our girls have been bred back. Will be posting further info to the auction barn or you can pm us if interested. Located in Florida, west of Ocala. (All our Dexters are also PHA free!). Jeanne Oak Shadows Farm

Gene, there are some errors with ours, I'll e mail you the complete list of ours with the correct information and copies of the test results. Thanks for keeping this list updated. One suggestion for an addition, if there are bulls on the list perhaps you could have a column on whether they have been collected and if semen available for purchase?
Olga, congratulations on the A2 status for Jaxon and Marilyn!

Gene, Are you still taking A2/A2 tested animals? If so, the heifer I purchased from moosters meadows qualifies based on UC Davis tests done on 27/Nov/2012. Her name is Moosters Swing Dance and her ADCA # is 031110. I hope that's the info you need. Thanks for your work on this project.
