That's amazing! Hey, what are the marks in the snow around him? Did he just get up from making a Dexter snow angel? (this is where I would insert all those smiley faces if I could figure it out...)
Thanks for sharing and welcome back!

Thanks for the nice comments. Maybe he was out there making snow angels! Well, gee, Barb, he doesn't look unhappy....

Genebo, this have been the snowiest winter here in a decade. In January we had just a few days that got above freezing. Glad I don't have calves due until March. I have forgotten what dirt looks like and the cows are ready from green grass. My little cows have long, thick coats, especially the yearlings. They look like dehorned Highlands right now. But this weather and deep snow does not seem to bother them. They keep their weight up, are in great condition, and rarely seek shelter. Such an amazing breed!!

Here's a couple pics just for fun. We have 30 acres about 20 miles from home. It's at 11,500' elevation. It's our get-away, fun spot where we spent most weekends. We have a little shed to store camping gear and for shelter. Here is it, pic taken two weeks ago. No photoshop editing, there is nearly 6 feet of snow on the level. Glad my little cows aren't up there, they'd be buried! My Dh, Mike, who is 6'2". Me on my snowmobile, looking very puffy under many layers of clothing.

Lol.. Always loved the snow at elevation during winter out west... Nothing like driving down tunnels that were actually driveways or roads...

The pictures are great and crystal clear, love looking at them, I just can't imagine living there. Burr.
Even with all the right clothing on I still freeze, and it's painful. Maybe I'm just a wuss.
How long did take you to shovel that walkway out?

How long did take you to shovel that walkway out? Barb You don't want to know... Actually not too bad, if we keep up with it. If we miss a weekend getting up there, then it's a job.
