P.J., you're one of the closer posters on this site to me. If I was ready, I'd talk to you about selling that little guy to me. Short-legged Dexter - just what I'm hoping to get!

Sorry Honeycreek, I didn't mean to hi-jack your thread.......... This little guy is 4 months old and is out of a nice long legged dun bull named New Day Jerry. Jerry is now living with a bunch of nice little short legged girls over in Stillwater, OK. His momma is IA Lelia, out of Olgas herd. Thanks for the nice complements on him, not that I had anything to do with it ;D. I just put the right bull with the right girl. P.J.

P.J., here is a copy of the add that I posted on Arkansasmatters.com: "Great for the smallest 4-H youth! These babies have great temperament and train very quickly, their size isnt' intimidating and they are easy to handle. Good conformation, ADCA registration on demand - could be used for breeding. Will be available after weaning" arkansasmatters.com/content/marketplace/classifieds/items?cat_id=21&item_id=15498I had a man call me within 15 min. after I posted the add. He was from the FFA of a school near by. He is a cutie!

Can't really tell at this young age, but he looks to be a good looking bull calf. I don't know if I'm kidding myself, but it seams like I'm still able to recognize Leila as our little Lee Valentine. Something about that familiar face! Is the bull calf steered? Who is his daddy? Because if you don't find a paying buyer, I would offer you to trade for a black one, with us doing the transportation. I would be able to let him grow till about 2 years old and then make a decision on weather or not to use him as a bull or steer him for meat.

Olga, his daddy is New Day Jerry, a long leg dun bull, that I raised, out of Ponderosa of JP Farms, up in Missouri. I agree with you, he looks a lot like his Momma, but I do like that dun color. He was born in October, so I'll be weaning him in a couple of weeks. I'll ask Joe, ( he loves this calf) and if he's willing, I'd be glad to trade with you. Maybe we could meet you somewhere along the way, so you don't have to drive so far. I'll let you know, P.J.
ps. I did have him tested and he is a carrier.
