Olga, is there some way to reach everyone and let them know where this board is ?? I had to ask Dan where it went, he explained I'm not sure why some people have to mess up anything they get the chance to, nothing better to do, I guess. P.J.

Genebo:
I'l be forever grateful to the Dakodan board for bringing us together. Olga pitched in and helped on that board along with some other fine people. Now that she's started this new one, maybe we'll all find time to say "Thank You" to her. Maybe we'll learn from what happened and make sure it isn't repeated. If Olga asks for help, then I reckon we should give it to her.
Well, let me be among those who say "Thank you, Olga!"! I don't have Dexters but I'm using this board and others to learn. I could never get registered with Dakodan, so I missed out on all that info which, like Genebo said, will eventually get posted here. I don't know anybody here, but I'm enjoying reading all the posts and truly appreciate all the info I'm gathering from not only my questions, but those from other posters. Thank you everybody, and especially you, Olga! I can't wait to have my own Dexters! But first - the fence! (and other necessities!)

Well, actually, I was talking about it getting moved from the Dexter Cattlle website, about it not being a link on the homepage. I thought having this link on the homepage of the ADCA was a good thing, it gave people who were looking at Dexter cattle a way to find out about them from people who owned them. But evidently someone thought it shouldn't be listed there, and raised enough of a stink that Chuck had to remove the link. The only way I found out where this forum had move was to ask another member and he told me, so I figured that other people might have a hard time finding it too. Maybe I'm the only computer illiterate on here Anyway, I've said it before and I'll say it again, Olga, you are the best. P.J. happy trails

I'm not sure the push was to get this board removed from the adca page, but to get at least one other list added. I also liked being able to read the minutes.

Sorry, haven't been reading for a couple of days, had a mini-vacation while the boys and Justus went on a horse-riding and camping trip. That is I spent the time between chores in bed with a book...
Anyway, was unaware of any trouble with ADCA posting a link to this board. I e-mailed Chuck some time a go, memory is fuzzy, and asked him to add it to the links. If it was "uncool" for this board to be a link, that's fine - I'm just not that familiar with the rules and the protocol. So, I'll e-mail him again to update my "personal information" and have him list the address under my personal farm information. Not the same, but at least it will be somewhere on the site!
We had admin counsil at the church last night, main issue of rebuilding or building anew - so much negativity! Let's not have it here... I think the best remedie is to deliberately not take it to heart and find new ways, find compromise, be flexible.

amen Olga, but, I do wish they could at least put a link over her for the people looking for a place to meet with other Dexter owners. I've noticed that a lot of the members are not posting, which means they haven't found it yet. I might e-mail some of the members and just let them know where we've moved to, if thats allright with you. P.J. just realized something, I don't know how to send the address of this board to people, duhhhhhh,, I'm so computer stupid sometimes, well, actually most of the time.
