Sorry to be the one to ask this late in the game.
How do I post a pic? We've just had a new calf and have a couple of neat pics.
Thanks, Al--beerbird

Under the "Why can I not figure this out" thread (of mine), LSG posted these instructions which is the only way I finally understood how to do it. Follow it to the T and you'll get it. Good luck. "It is tricky to use. You need to have a Photobucket account, so you can copy these photos to your Photobucket files. Set up your Photobucket account first; it is free. photobucket.com/If you have Windows, go to "My Pictures." Open the "Adobe" folder. In my Adobe folder, there is a sub-folder called "Digital Camera Photos." Click to open and choose the date in which you downloaded your digital pictures. Click on the picture you wanted to copy, and rename the photo to make it easier to find. While the photo is highlighted , you can choose to either move this file or copy it to your "Desktop". After you have copied your files to the desktop, go to Photobucket and sign in to create or open your album. Click on the "Browse" button. A window will open up, choose the Desktop as your site and click on the file that you want to import to Photobucket. After you have chosen the files, click the "Upload" button. It will take a minute to upload the photos. Once they are uploaded to your album, use your mouse to right click on the photo of your choice. A window will open up over the photo. Choose the "properties" option. When the properties box opens up copy the URL address by highlighting it with you mouse's left button and then click the right mouse button to chose the "copy" option. You have now copied the file from Photobucket and are read to insert it in your forum post. On this forum, when you make a new post or reply to an old one, you will notice the icons at the top. Click on the icon representing a picture. [/img] will appear in the post box. Click in-between the "imgs" and push the Ctrl and V buttons at the same time to paste your file into the box. Hope this makes sense."

You can also use www.pixentral.com - upload your image there, then go to the bottom of the page and copy the url next to the word "forum" then post that url here. It will put a thumbnail image in the thread that can be clicked on if folks want to see a larger version. Saves bandwidth in the forum and takes less time to load for folks on dial-up. Plus it allows for viewing of an image a lot larger than would fit in a forum. For pixentral it is best to set your image size so that the longest side is no longer than 700pixels. That will come close to filling most screens. If you go larger than that you won't be able to see all of the image at once.

I've been trying to post a picture, I've got it loaded on photobucket, highlighted etc, go to my post click pic thingy and get the IMG's. click between etc and it seems to paste. It looks right, but doesnt bring the pic up on the post. What am I doing wrong?? ..marion EDIT: Ok, I removed some 'extra' IMG's from the post, and it worked!
