I register my bull calves and if they don't make the cut as they grow, then they become steers and are fed out. How do I mark them as "deceased" through the ADCA? I have a few to remove as well as a cow and a bull that were shipped.

Simply send an email to the ADCA Registrar and provide the name, registration number, and date of death for each animal. The Registrar will change their status to "Inactive" in the ADCA registry database and they will then show up in the ADCA Online Pedigree as being "Deceased".

We need more folks to do this; there are many deceased animals that are not reflected as such in the ADCA Registry.

Good point. I would like to mark these animals as deceased. They were still Dexters and a few had offspring, so they should still appear in the register. Disappearing an animal seems dishonest, unless an honest mistake was made and the animal was not a full bred Dexter. Maybe that was the case with the white cow? I read somewhere that white was introduced into Celtic cattle by Roman cattle.
