Gene or anyone else that has had their cows tested, could you please let me know the name of the lab that is doing the dna test? Thanks, Liz

We recently had all of our registered Kerry cows and bulls tested for A2 and A1 at Texas A&M University. Every one of them was found to be homozygous for A2.
Best Always,
Patti Adams

Hmmmmm, I called Texas A&M and talked to the Dr. who was listed on the ADCA site (cant remember off hand his name) and he said we Canadians were welcome to have our animals tested also. Maybe personal cattle are not considered a commercial endeavor.
