Now I know what those vertical grooves on the steep back pasture hill are--upward-moving mountain cows! They must be going straight over the back fence into the hunting preserve. And here I thought the grooves were from my DH bush-hogging. You learn something new every day!

Wow Barb, that's 9 minutes I'll never get back ! We do grow all types here in N Cal, that's a fact. I'd hate to be a cow on the Altamont, nasty windy place! We call 'em sidehill racers...thanks for the chuckle.
