"Bruce" is 14 months old, dark dun, horned(dehorned), PHA & Chondro free. More tail hairs arrived at TAMU today to test for red and A2 status. Bruce is a "long leg" Dexter, but is not overly tall. A rough measurement at the hip is 35-37". His sire, RDC Rainbow Lucky Ace is out of lines known for their "milkiness" and is A2/A2.

I share milked his momma, in her first lactation, for the first month and a half of her lactation and she gave 1/2 gallon OAD. I milked her again at 9 months into her lactation and she again gave 1/2 gallon OAD, after 12 hours separation. Y'all may be the only ones to appreciate this, but her udder conformation & teat orifices were VERY good for a Dexter and made hand milking a breeze.
Bruce is an easy going guy & not even a little bit aggressive and has a good "flight" zone and will calmly move away if we get in that zone. If we are persistent, or offer him grain, he will stand to be brushed...or have tail hairs pulled
Located in S TX, east of San Antonio, and we will be traveling to the AGM in Bryan/College Station and could meet there or deliver him anywhere along the way on June 20!
The first pics were taken yesterday, (lighting was my enemy sorry they're so dark), and the other two were taken at 8 months old. Message me or email info@SweetLibertyFarm.com for pricing!
*Edited to mention that he is also a beefy guy...I tend to focus on milk since I milk , but our goal is to have dual purpose cows and Bruce definitely fits that bill . If I had more land he would be staying here with us, but I just don't have the room to keep two bulls. Here is the link to his sire:
