Does any1 notice all the guest that visits this site ? u no at the bottom of the page it has stats and I have been watch n the #s fer the past week er so and it is interest n how many guest look in on this form/board which ever its called. To me it would be a challenge to push the welcome wagon out front with a yoak of dexters hooked as a greet n sign. these on lookers r the future, expantion, and success of the breed. and to make this a place that draws peoples attention and interest want to keep com n bac. and they r the potintual buyers that we all look fer too. that's the part that cought me 1-I... new and interested folks just look n round r hesitant to jump right in (not like me) and start chatter n in a group invirement but would talk on a more 1x1 situation if they felt welcome well guess what any and all can contact me fer bullmanarkiee, bullbutter, and bullcrapp n, cowcuss n , calf kic n with a little general info mixed in, but have lots of dextercated contacts if n faks and figures r wanted too... feel free 2 contact me @ dollarlessbill@yahoo.com or call 606-862-7599 home or 606-309-1541 sail,,, here in KY

Hi Bill, I'm apparently new on the forum since you were on here before. Olga or marion could probably answer this better, but some of those statistics probably reflect members that aren't logged in. I just don't know what percent that would be. I personally stay logged on almost all the time, so it probably looks like I'm on here constantly, but I'm not really--just my computer! I know that some members don't log in every time they're on here, especially if they don't plan to post, so their unlogged-in computer would register as a guest. I used to feel bad about that, but then I saw a lady on another forum say that she hadn't logged off in years and had no record of her log-in information. That made me feel better! But yes, you're right--this could be a gateway to Dexters and is certainly a place many brand new Dexter owners come for help and information. That's why I like it when the conversations stay civil! I try to remember that everything I post on here has my name and farm name attached to it, and I'm representing the Dexter breed for better or for worse.

I know I enjoy this forum. Even though I don't have Dexter's yet. Still researching and learning about the breed. Even when it comes to cross breeding. I have to say you guys put a lot of information out here. Thank you so much!!!!!

You're right Bill, jumping in here can be kind of intimidating if you're new to it all. I know I lurked around for awhile before my first post. I only use the computer when I want to change my avatar, so I only see those stats at the bottom of the page then...and never really paid attention. I guess I would be one of those "guests" though...as throughout the day I'll sometimes check the "recent posts" to see what's up. The iPhone logs you out after a certain amount of time and I don't always feel like logging back in if I know I won't have time to reply to anything, as Susan said. I'm not sure when you stopped posting but I'm glad you're back now. I appreciate all the different perspectives.
