Lower Delaware
The part about getting a cow as a wedding present was great, we didn't get presents that good at our wedding.

Now that makes us Aussie newbies feel warm and fuzzy. Saying well done to both of you doesnt seem to be enough.
Those tassie Dexters certainly continue to raise the bar and in the process exhaust the rest of us as we try and catch-up.

What a great article Marg. With all of the talk about lately you have proven that you can make your Dexters commercial, you just have to put the effort in and have good cattle.
PS I have hinted to my husband many a time that a new heifer would make a great anniversary present. One of my friends did get a heifer from Elgin Park for her 40th birthday present from her parents, progressive parents LOL

I've been long thinking how to best put it into words my reaction to the article and the pictures - and here it finally goes: Now here are Dexters I'd be more glad to get my hands on than on any of those "rarest, purest" Dexters "in the world"!
