nice bull, is he polled or just de-horned ? I really like the hip on him, good and beefy, should throw you some good calves. P.J.

He is polled.. He is a son of Glenn Land Mr McRed. I am hoping for 2 nice calves next year!! He was 2 the 1st of Sept. I am trying to figure out whether I can halter train him or have someone do it as I'm thinking about showing him...have you ever trained an older bull??

I need to get a newer picture of our bull. He's dun and polled, 14 months old. He's a grandson of Mr. McRed, out of Dean Fleharty's bull. I really can't believe how small he his at this point. He's filling out well and has a good shape, but he's so short. We have a steer from Dan Butterfield that was born on the same day as our bull. They were similar size when we got them early this year but now the steer is taller by probably 4 inches (he's not as filled out as the bull though) I hope that the steer is just in a growth spurt like a teenager and will fill into his body before we butcher him??? They are all on the same pasture, probably 50% alfalfa, and moved daily to a new paddock. Rhonda could you tell me how tall your bull is? He looks good but it would be nice to see a side shot of him.

I will try to get this side pic up---I tried to measure his height at hip I think it is around 41-42 I am not sure I did it right?! Thanks for positive comments everyone I think he is special but I might look at him through rose colored glasses ---He is such a good boy!!!! In this pic he looks taller in the rear but he really isn't. I'm not a very good picture taker!!! [/img]

Colours in photos can vary, but that's a red to me.
