Here she is, Maxine, stalking my kitchen door window. I think Maxine lived in a communist country in her prior life. She is used to standing in line for hours, waiting for her turn... She has suspicions, bordering on paranoia, about anything out of the ordinary... And she always eats like it's her last meal...

That is precious. So, you're saying she got loose? and came looking for you.

thank you. and a little clarification:
She didn't get loose. We only have less than 2 acres here at the house, but it's enough to keep the cow in milk. It's winter anyway, and we're feeding hay. We do have a barn with a stancheon built, but the cow stands so well, it's easier to milk her on the concrete pad by the back door - the one she's looking into. Usually Maxine and MuuMuu are by the hay-bale, or at their favorite spot on top of the hill, or roaming around looking for grass. But Maxine tries her best to be the boss - even when it comes to milking. So she stalkes me around milking times - follows me if I come outside. And if I'm inside, especially in the kitchen, she'll stand there practically with her nose pressed to the kitchen door glass. What makes this so funny, is that Maxine doesn't like people, doesn't want to be around them, doesn't want to be touched... except milking time.
