Ok I'm up for it ;D ...well, I say it's not really the bottom of the page, I mean there are all sorts of other things that are below it. so technically speaking it's only part way up from the bottom of the page. I would say the difference is around 4 to 5 inches if you are a female reading this, and 6 to 8 if you are a non-female reading this. Take it away guys and gals, and remember, never argue with an Englishmun... ;D

that cracks me up-------- but i beg to differ it's the last part of the page they let me write on, so for all intents and my purpose it is the bottom of the page, but it's not, [glow=red,2,300]and i can make it a diferent color[/glow]or not[or biggeror smallerbut they are both the same but they are not. I'm so confused now i dont know what kind of cows i have, heck i'm not sure they are even cows they might be horses. OK i give up you win.

Ok honeycreek, ya caved early..this frees up my afternoon..the heifers I'm keeping separate from Mister BigBull are inside pooin' up a storm, and I've lost the manure fork..I mean, how can ya lose a manure fork..I think it must be frozen into the ditch I was cleaning the last deluge of rain when water was lapping at the heels of my round bale rows then we got ice and snow and I've poked around everywhere with another steel tool and it's gone gone gone, til spring...so if my barn was a store it would be called Poops-R-Us and now I've got all this free time (cause ya caved early) I'm going to see if I can buy myself a christmas present of a short D-handled five-tine which is just right for my aged body to shift, Oh Boy a new manure fork this is as good as it gets...and are we getting closer to the REAL bottom of the page with this lengthening thread, or does the computerland goddess just lengthen the page and we remain in the same place

onthebit i was referring to your comment of dec. 3rd
" I have 3 diff. types of horns on my cattle here.
The common up and out which seems prevalent:
The straight out. (common with bulls):
and an odd set of tightly curled horns:"
Marion, there is not a single tool on the place (Here) that is not frozen to the ground, this includes electric or motor driven. 3 days of rain followed by an ice storm that left thousands without power. now it is 0 deg. f. with a sustained wind of about 30 mph. calling for more snow tomorrow. Just hope the 2 heifers don't calf tonight.

Oh boy, you make me feel lucky, weatherwise. Will it melt or do you have the extreme low temps for months? We have knee deep snow, more on the way, with high winds forecast tonight. I was going out (to get a fork) and a few christmas things and I turned around and came back..I think getting back home would have been iffy, even with a 4WD. Hope your calving girls are snuggled into some straw tonight, keep us posted ;D .. Meanwhile I was thinking of those pyramid things, where you send someone a tea towel, add your name to the list, and get a whole bunch of tea towels in the mail from perfect strangers. Well I dont need tea towels the dishes be darned I am always doing cow stuff..but maybe we could start a manure fork mail-out, and my one will return me 15.....marion

Thanks but I got my Christmas present new fork ;D Now come spring when I find the original I'll have one for each hand..meanwhile the doodoos that were awaiting removal are frozen solid..ha, another excuse not to clean the barn. Keep that generator handy! We had to cook a huge turkey on a box stove one time when the big ice storm had us out of power for a week..did it in a covered pan and it turned out the best ever..marion
