Too bad it wasn't viewable. It was a very well done series focusing on the process of taking animals from farm to abattoir to table. The lesson mostly was appreciating where our meat actually comes from and the process it goes through to get to our mouths. The farm that was featured was a very nice one and the respect and care for the animals was evident.

Great program on BBC this week about the entire process of farm to table raising and slaughtering of various animals. Here (hopefully) is a link to the first one on beef. (Link is only good for a week or so) www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b00psnkq/Kill_It_Cook_It_Eat_It_Burgers/ so nice ;D

The link doesn't work for me either and I'm in the UK. Anyhow, whatever, I've seen it before. Basically cow gets born, grows up, gets killed, then eaten.

How wonderfull it would be if all animals could be treated this well. Instead the majority have to endure the horror of feed lots and a cruel death. These animals were treated with respect. P.J.
