Our Dexter cow, April, has the silliest tail. I can spot her easily because of her little white "flag" at the tip. She had her first calf last fall and he was solid black. Her white doesn't extend past her navel so she is within standards (from what I have been told). I think she's an original. Would you pass over a cow with a white tail tip?
I'm just curious. ;D

Just add that [/img] link from photobucket or use the attachment option, just make sure it's within size limits. Can't wait to see your pics!

Pictures, I hope! ;D April is 3 years old. You can see in the background of this picture, on the upper right hand side, April's mother, Tina, also has a white udder.

I am curious about this cow's breeding. I also have two cows, a mother and daughter, that have white hairs in the switch of their tail. Theirs is not totally white like yours but when I was pulling hairs this weekend, I noticed more than the others have. Since mine are a mother and daughter, I'm wondering about bloodlines. The mother is a Glen Land Mr. McRed daughter out of a cow named SR Jazzy Jane. It's just one of those things that makes you go, "hhhmmmm"... ;0)

Is it the photo or does she have white on her Shelton's triangle? (chest in between her front legs/elbows)

Is it even called Shelton triangle in US? Probably not.
