Our Most Special Dexter Cow

We have a very special Dexter cow in our herd. Her name is Wakarusa BRR Lucy and her 2011 heifer calf is Wakarusa LOCH Lorna. Wakarusa BRR Lucy is AI sired by Bedford Romarc Rambler. Lucy is 4 years old now, 40-inches hip height, weighs 600 lb, she is homozygous for A2 Beta Casein, Chondro-free, and PHA-free. She has grown up to be a sweet gal with a very magnificent set of horns. Lorna is AI-sired by Lochinvar, and she is petite and sweet. Time will tell how she grows up. Wow Patti, those are some impressive horns, especially since she is only 4 years old. Wonder how big they'll be by the time she's 10 or 15 years old.
