You know A2 milk could be a repeat of many marketing strategies out there wanting to make us believe. Or it could be absolute fact - but who knows while large corporations have control of such information.
Did you know that the marketing campaign for low-fat dietary benefits are now taught to up and coming marketing executives on how a well-structured marketing plan can make people ‘believe’?
Then there is the cigarette companies who held such marketing power for so many years that they were responsible for the delay in the knowledge of the now unrefuted scientific evidence of cancer- causing agents within their products?!
It is also known that the contraceptive pill taken by millions of women worldwide does cause a form of breast cancer BUT this type is generally caught early…………………….so the pill is deemed a safe product.
So while the A2 milk argument is raging, I don’t intend to apologise for our stud taking full advantage of it.
We have over half our herd producing pure A2 (A2/A2).
Four calves born spring 2013:
1 x A2/A1,
1 x waiting on test
2 x A2/A2 (by inheritance)
Three more calves to come where only one will require testing as the other two will also be A2/A2 by inheritance.
We have noticed a strong increase in the call for pure A2 house cows in the last two years as more and more people want the ‘pure-country’ lifestyle with sustainability.
We currently average one enquiry a week for A2 house cows.
