to poll or not to poll

So... I've seen several threads talking about 'all the discussions' on this board about polled/non polled dexters, yet I haven't seen any of those threads. maybe the search option is not pulling them up, but either way I personally would like to see reasons why I should or should not introduce polled-ness into my herd. can someone list a few reasons why some are against / for polled or horns? thanks
