Far from the pie-in-the-sky of Mother Earth, and the finger wagging of the Rodale Empire, there is a reasonably well funded group of students, grad students and professors who have amassed an impressive collection of research papers, grant funded trials, and "sit down and whittle awhile" anecdotal information from them's thats doin' it.
Advertising and influence free, the information has been invaluable to us and all of our efforts......If ya' got cows....ya need hay.....and so, ya need pasture....and money to throw into bottomless pit of the ranch.....but, ya' got manure, and the local yuppies will buy your produce......but you need chickens to eat the bugs......the chickens sell well, but you have to process them.
ATTRA / NCAT will tie it all together........AND, YOU CAN GET A FAIRLY SMART LIVE BODY ON THE OTHER END OF THE PHONE LINE ALMOST ANY TIME OF THE DAY !!!!! Maybe a bit generic in their response. However, I have been directed to information that led to information that led to large scale plans working smoother.
Do you want a semi load of NON-GMO corn.....I started with them and took a tour of the country and suppliers one afternoon.
