Good morning everyone...Has anyone ever had a three month old calf poop white stool?...I know there was a thread somewhere on this but I can't find it...Anyway, I am writing this for someone else....She has two calves , in different pastures, and their poop is white this morning...It is not any diarrhea, it is just white....Hope someone can help us out on this...Also how do you get to the earlier post to search for info way back?....Thanks for any help.....Donna

Hi Dexterlady,
It is very normal for Dexter calves that are 2 to 3 months old to have a change in their manure for a day or two when their rumen transitions and actually starts to function as a rumen. If the calf is healthy in all other aspects and eating well, the white manure will only last for a couple of days and then it will become the normal brown stuff.
