Well, we all think the drought of 2012 is over...FAT CHANCE....we, in NW Arkansas are still in the "Exceptional" category...(and that ain't SAT scores). If we have a repeat next year.....think the mid-1930's ...... we will see many, many operations fold. I'm making no comment on whether this is natural changes or man made. Arguing with both sides is futile.....obviously the earth is flat, just look. This report is DATA.....not opinion. This will show you where your state has changed since the early 1900's. It don't take a rocket scientist to know the climate is changing, I guess the question is, how do we adapt?? I'm afraid the record temps we see now, will be the norm in a few more years, we've got to change how we manage our pasture and everything else. It may be a boon to our little cows, they don't take the feed or water that "big" cattle do, a good selling point.
