I find it interesting that breeds that are valued and well known for their horns, such as the Scottish Highland, Texas Longhorn, and Watusi, have never had a polled mutation appear and accepted into their breed standard or registries.
The Scottish Highland and Texas Longhorn even have longer histories and greater numbers of births and opportunities for this mutation than our little Dexter breed has had.
