Thanks for the heads up, Gene. Working for a vet was one of the best and worst experiences of my life, lol. It did help me to choose a career when I decided to go back to school at 40ish. I am now a Certified Surgical Technician and I love it.

Love that show. It's been really interning to see how they handle some pretty scary bovine stuff like white muscle disease and prolapsed uterus'. I think I found my local "Dr. Pol" today when I needed antibiotics for a calf on Christmas. See my thread on "swelling after banding" for details.

Thanks for the heads up Gene...I was watching it a bit tonight, and there are some interesting bits. I was laughing though when they're getting the Christmas tree with the green grass and no snow. He's in Michigan...ha,ha. That segment was probably filmed in July.
The son is obviously in there because he presents so much of a contrast to dad. I'm sure he's there for the fame, because he sure isn't cut out for large animal veterinary medicine!

This is a great show. I am learning so much. The new season starts in a few days. I caught a few shows last season and loved it.

Watched it for the first time; very good. One totally incompetent owner of a cow in my opinion, letting her labor for over 2 days!
