Nice job. You may want to add a removable board across the milking access. If you think she made it through the head gate with no problem wate until you get one that wants out and ducks through that side open. I have had one do it.
I have one that is a year and a half old now. She was trained to go in the stanchion at a few months old. She loves to go stand in the stanchion. She does not care much for grain just wants to go stand in there. You can open the head gate she runs out circles around and waits to go back in. I hope she is that good when it comes time to milk her.

Here is my take on stanchion and raised platform milking for short Dexters. We put some blocks of wood on the floor to make her high enough for me to milk more comfortably. She goes into the stanchion and then I push her rear over until she puts her hind feet up on the blocks. Here she is in the stanchion.
