I planted a new pasture last september with #9 pasture mix from Welter Seed & Honey company. I had done a soil sample the previous year and applied all that soil sample called for prior to seeding. The grass and clover is about 3-4 inches tall now. The clover is beautiful , but the grass seems to be alittle yellow with some tips that have a winter burn look to it. Would you add anything to it to perk up the grass? I hate to add something that might would hurt the clover. Attachments:

I would go with 50units of Nitrogen, 25units of pot ash, & 25units of phosphorous at around 250lbs per acre.

It does look like the grass could use some N, but if you add too much now, the grass will take off and crowd out your nice clover. Clover likes P and K, but makes its own N (with plenty left over for your grasses once it is established). If you add anything, I would go light on N, say 10-20-20 and add no more than 10-20 lbs N per acre. I have had a challenge getting white clover established by overseeding my mostly tall fescue pasture. This year I am trying birdsfoot trefoil. I am broadcasting in each paddock before I let them in, them letting them crop the grass short to reduce competition while they work the seed in with their hooves.
Good luck, I envy that nice clover you have coming on. Dave
