One of our cows is showing signs of copper deficiency. We have sulphur in our water and much of the literature links sulphur to poor copper retention. I was wondering what others do for copper. Our cows typically shy away from loose mineral, but do enjoy salt licks and free salt. We can mix into grain of course, but we're almost ready to send the herd to pasture. We have found a product called copperhead max. Does anyone have an idea or experience with a product that works?

You might review some of the Feed in a Drum specifications. This is a tub-based supplement with a variety of applications. Some contain good quantities of copper.
