Any good recommendations on a good Oiler/Scratcher? I'm looking for a nice heavy duty unit to apply bug repellent. Also I'm looking for something that would get their heads too, maybe a mineral feeder/oiler. I just hate to see the flys bugging them, and when I try to put the "juice" on their backs, they scatter. I even try to conceal it in a big syringe, but as soon as I take it out of my pocket, they run. Also, what are you guys doing for worming?

A lot of people swear by the big roll suspended at both ends, with streamers the animals walk under, filled with dusting powder.
Personally I prefer the one that attaches to a tree or post or wall. It's upsidedown L shaped with the arm that sticks out on a spring. It has brushes on both the underside of the stick-out part and on the vertical part that's attached to the post or whatever. It also has a small tank that sits against the post, above the brushes, with a tube that runs through and across the horizontal stick-out part. Put the fly spray in the tank, it runs down and through the brush. If you get the height right, the cows can scratch their heads, back and sides. I've seen them pushing up on the spring using lots of pressure, loving it.
cheers, c.
