Recently, our board reached its limit for attachments. This meant that no new pictures could be attached to posts. My options were to start paying a monthly fee for larger storage limit for attachments, or delete some older attachments. I chose the latter.
To avoid this problem in the future, I would like to ask everyone to avoid attaching pictures to posts. Use the alternative method: open an account at an online photo service such as Photobucket or Snapfish. Upload your pictures to your library in the online photo service. Copy the link to the picture you want to post, in the top menu of the "Create Thread" window click on the picture icon, and Paste the link.

Thanks Olga....Best Way...We use it extensively....Photobucket is now in good hands and has lots of good features. It went through a real traumatic transition...I highly recommend it
BUT TAKE NOTE...get your albums and setup correct. If you reorder the pics later, in the online service...THEY DISAPPEAR on the forum. Then you must re-link to the new location again. An alternative is to put them on your website, if you have one, and link. You then have control. ADMIT IT....does anyone trust that the "free services" will remain free or not go belly up one dark night.

If you/your farm has a web site, the photo can first be put there. Then, just copy the address and use that as a link on any thread here to display your picture(s).

This is my milking stanchion photo which I added to my headlock/stanchion setup. The bottom panel swings out for access to the udder and the top panel swings out independently to let the cow out without backing up.

Yes, any of your pics already on a website or on Facebook, just right click on the pic, choose "copy link url", then in proboards post click the pic icon and paste the url.
