Called the lab and got it straightened out. If you add a dam that isn't on file with UC Davis, they will expect a hair sample and charge you $30. If that happens, just call them. That's what I had to do and then changed my receipt by hand to reflect the $10 charge for transferring the lab info from TAMU. I included a copy of the genotype from TAMU so they had the information they needed.
Hope that helps anyone else in the same spot.

If you enter the TAMU genotype marker values yourself (UC-Davis has an on-line form to enter a foreign genotype), then it only costs you $2.00 to transfer a genotype from TAMU to UC-Davis VGL. To do this, once you are in your UC-Davis VGL account, click on "Order Tests". When the ADCA Cattle Test Form appears, look on the left side for "ADCA Foreign Type Form" and click on it. Follow instructions for submitting your foreign (other lab) genotype markers.

Thanks. Darn, too late. Might help in the future, though.

Hi littlecowfl, did you ever get an answer? If you want to have him PV'ed at Davis, then yes, all three genotypes need to be at Davis. If you have a copy of the genotype, you can send it to them and they will enter it in your database. There may even be a way for you to enter it online, but I am not sure. If you are not the owner of the cow's genotype at TAMU, you can contact the owner and have them request that TAMU transfer it to Davis. But, if you own the cow now, it might be less hassle to just send in a new sample to Davis. Hope this helps.

Yes, it should be all in order so I can register him later this week. Thank you.
