Hope y'all will forgive all of my newbie questions - I'm always a nervous nelly anytime I'm trying something new and I want to have the best set up possible in place when I get my two yearling heifers next week.
I have an old 10x16 horse shelter that we are planning on rehabing for the cows use - it mostly just needs a new roof. We don't have all of the pasture fenced yet, so my plan is to get a dozen cattle panels and fence in an area that is approx 64x48. Do you think that would be big enough for them as a temporary corral until they got used to us and the relocation? They haven't been handled much at their present location so will need some gentling.

It's basically a 3 sided shelter so it should offer plenty of ventilation. They have had some halter training, but haven't been handled recently after the teenager lost interest in them. Thanks for the link!
