Thanks, guys! This is the only calf we expect this summer. April had a little tryst with the bull a bit earlier than the others.

Congratulations! Perhaps you should look to breed April for summer calves to get more heifers though I imagine summer calving is pretty tough down there in FL.

Yes, but April is a trooper. The rains helps to cool things down. I swear the barometric pressure drop before any precipitation gets the cows to calve.

Pretty little lady. I agree, it seems the pressure drop does seem to bring on calving sometimes.

April is a good milker. She raised two calves last year and never lost condition. She is such a good cow.
