I would not sacrifice other positive attributes for the specific goal of the A2 gene by itself. However, it is a definite plus that he is positive for it. I do want to retain the milking side of things in my cattle, as there is plenty of emphasis on beef traits in others programs. His mother has a great udder and so if the progeny are good and A2 then all is good.
