Redbug finally had her calf! We have been waiting on this one for a long time. Redbug was the reserve champion at last years AGM, youth division. She had a short-legged red heifer born on 10-29. Haven't named her yet, but here she is:

Wow Charles, just can't help but smile when I look at that calf. Did you get a weight? What a doll!

I don't weigh them, probably should but I am basically a one-man show and can't get to everything I want to do. Having said that, I would estimate her at 35 pounds at birth. I should have taken a picture of her from behind as well - she is going to be one "chunky" Dexter - just like her mom!

Nice little girl Charles, definitely a chondro carrier. You should keep her.

Too cute! Hopefully she will grow up to be much like her mama!

Awwww, she is soooo cute!! I can't wait till Jan/Feb when mine start having babies. I'm so ready. I'm definitely going to get a short-leg heifer next.

What a doll! She should serve as a model for a stuffed toy calf! Every little kid would want to cuddle her!
