Welcomed this little black heifer night before last out of our first timer Cocoa. I got home at 10 & her water had broken. By 10:26 Crisp(?) was on the ground, by 11:10 latched onto momma. We caught the heifer bug this year...4/4. Very thankful all are well. Next calf 2014 God-willing!

That's a lovely, heart-warming photo! You've captured one of the best moments of being a Dexter owner! Congratulations on another heifer!

Congratulations! Cute little heifer, mom looks very content, and that photo has a unique and special look to it. I can't put my finger on it. Did you use full zoom so you didn't disturb them?

Thank you guys. Hans, my wife took that with her iPhone. I swear that's all we use anymore. She said Crisp was actually laying right there at Cocoa's head but she got up. Mom would've let Tina walk right up to her, she is a very calm a gentle cow, but the calf decided she needed to pose.

Pictures like that are "priceless" and make me all the more anxious for them to start happening on our place! For all you folks who know how to post photos, please remember that you can't post too many. I'm sure that I speak for most of us when I say I love to look at Dexter pics, any kind of Dexters; new, old, horned, polled ,anything. Keep 'em coming, and thank you!
